Raleigh County Community Action Association, Inc. empowers individuals and families to reach their highest levels of social and economic self-sufficiency, while identifying and eliminating the causes of poverty.

Raleigh County Community Action Association is conducting a community needs assessment in order to determine causes of poverty in Raleigh County and mobilize resources in a plan to meet community needs. Our process involves gathering feedback from area residents by asking survey questions about key poverty indicators including education, employment, housing, health, nutrition, use of income, transportation, emergency situations and children’s needs. We will use this information to guide our organization, strengthen services and ultimately have a positive impact in Raleigh County.

The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes and must be completed in one sitting. Deadline for survey completion is July 19, 2013. There are no right or wrong answers, and feedback from all is greatly appreciated!
