Who We Are
Who we are as an agency goes beyond the scope of what we do. What we do is a subsequent result of who we are. At the heart of RCCAA, you will find a group of individuals that are filled with love + compassion that is equally matched with competence. Each individual within has their own unique story as to who they are. Together you will find “A team of servant leaders that equip the vulnerable to be invulnerable”. Crystal D. Alonso
Crystal D. Alonso is the Executive Director at the agency. She has worked for RCCAA for over a decade. Crystal has a background in the legal field, grant writing, community development, and human resources. She has a heart that advocates for others which makes her a perfect fit!
David Crone
David Crone is the Operations/Transportation Director for the Raleigh County Community Action Association (RCCAA). He started with RCCAA as a driver in April 2019 and was named Operations/Transportation Director in April 2022. David is dedicated to providing safe and reliable transportation for our community. In his spare time, he officiates/umpires for the West Virginia Secondary Schools Activities Commission (WVSSAC) and state little leagues.
Angela Maxey-Adkins
Angela Maxey-Adkins is the Head Start Director here at RCCAA. Angela was named HS Director in the summer of 2020. Although she is new to her position, she is no stranger to Head Start or the RCCAA agency. Through her tenure, Mrs. Maxey-Adkins is another success story of exemplary leadership and solicitude catapulting her through the ranks.
Brittany Caron
Brittany is the Housing Director here at RCCAA. Mrs. Caron is a integral part fighting to end homelessness. Because of that, she works tirelessly to ensure that vision become a reality for her clients.
Michael Horn
Michael Horn is the Emergency Housing Center (EHC) Director here at RCCAA. Mr. Horn is currently one of the newest directors at RCCAA. We look forward to the fresh new vision he will provide for the shelter.
Theo Greer
Theo Greer is the Maintenance Supervisor here at RCCAA. He has been with the agency for over 13 years. He along with his team ensure all of our maintenance needs are taken care of.
